Exchange trades
UZEX said that some producers decreased offers, which partially connected with the start of the new month. The sales of food products decreased and its share in the market fell from 27% to 3%. Share of forage also decreased from 6% to 1%. In this connection, construction materials led in the market and accounted half of the market. At the same time, sales of non-ferrous metals, liquefied gas and polyethylene also recorded growth.
The volume of sales at hard currency platform of UZEX made up US$834,000. The construction materials, including cement, accounted 85% of export market. Other part of the market fell to share of polyethylene and ammonium nitrate of Shortan Gas Chemical Complex and Maxam-Chirchiq respectively.
Exhibition-fair trades
The volume of the exhibition-fair trades decreased up to 9.9 billion soums. The small businesses realized goods for 5.4 billion soums, which made up 54.5% of total volume.
Tashkent, Bukhara and Namangan branches were leaders on the number of deals in the reporting period, the exchange said.
The machinery products were the mostly demanded goods at the exchange as deals with these goods made up 4.3 billion soums last week. Polymers, plastic and products from them clinched the second place.
Public procurement
The volume of public procurement trade made up 11.6 billion soums on 1-7 July 2013. Number of budget organizations in the trades rose from 2,625 to 2,901 and number of suppliers – from 1,196 to 1,447 units.
Number of deals rose by 37% to 7,437. Share of the small businesses in trades was 90.5%.
