UZEX turnover hits 1.07 trln. soums in June

According to the press service of the exchange, the volume of deals at exchange platform in June reached 817 billion soums, fair trades - 155.5 billion soums, public procurement - 54.4 billion soums, corporate procurement - 42.7 billion soums. The volume of deal at electronic catalogues made up 9.7 billion soums.

The exchange deals rose by 49.5% in June compared to same period of 2015. The growth of deals with livestock was 80%, non-ferrous metals - by 60%, and polyethylene - 55%. Total share of building materials and food products fell from 54% to 47%. Share of feed for livestock increased from 6% to 8%, and share of polyethylene grew by 1%.

The volume of export sales at exchange platform significantly rose and made up US$8.1 million.

In the reporting period, the volume of fair trades rose from 77.2 billion soums to 155.5 billion soums, or almost two times.

The volume of public procurement in June rose by 18% year-on-year in June and helped to save about 11.9 billion soums.

The corporate procurement grew by 45%. It helped businesses to save about 8.9 billion soums, or grew by 71.5%.
