UZEX sells car number plates for 14.4 billion soums

The UZEX launched the website avtoraqam.uzex.uz on the sale of state license plates of vehicles.

For the past period, 684 automobile number plates were sold through the online auction, of which 469 - for individuals and 215 - for legal entities.

The total amount of realized state number plates exceeded 14.4 billion soums, the press service of the exchange said.

About 46% of sold number plates fell to share of buyers from Tashkent and Tashkent region, 11% - Ferghana region, 10% - Samarkand region, 6% - Khorezm and Andijan regions each and 4% - Namangan and Syrdarya regions each. The aggregate share of the remaining regions is 13%.

The exchange said that AVTORAQAM records 10 deals in average on daily basis.
