UZEX sells 234,000 tonnes of combustive-lubricating materials in past period of 2011

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) has realized 234,000 tonnes of combustive-lubricating materials with kerosene and stove fuel since the beginning of 2011. According to analytics service of UZEX, share of sales of Ai-80 petroleum and diesel fuel in general group of combustive-lubricating materials, realized at electronic exchange trades, exceeded 90%.

In total structure of sales of combustive-lubricating materials, share of diesel fuel made up 63%. So, the segment became leader in the group. At the same time, the share of Ai-80 petroleum decreased by 6% year-on-year. The growth of supply of diesel fuel by 110,000 tonnes impacted overall structure of combustive-lubricating materials group, which helped to increase its share in total sales.

Uznefteproduct is leader in structure of sellers. In total volume of combustive-lubricating materials sales, it share made up 74% (167,600 tonnes). Besides, Karbalt-Rutoil, DizEnergoService and Igillik Gaz put their products to UZEX. Their total share made up 25%. Uzbek-Russian Jarkurgonneftqaytaishlash is new and strong player in combustive-lubricating materials market of Uzbekistan.

Jarkurgonneftqaytaishlash (Surkhandarya region) was created in January 2004 to process oil to receive high-quality road and construction bitumen with use of new technologies. The founders of the company are Petromaruz (Russia) and Uzbekneftegaz. In August 2005, the enterprise launched production of bitumen at the volume of 80,000 tonnes a year.

Currently, Jarkurgonneftqaytaishlash produces Ai-80 (60% of total supply of the enterprise), diesel fuel (38%), mazut, tar, and light oil products.

In 2011, structure of realized oils through UZEX changed significantly. Share of engine oils grew up to 62%. The volume of realized engine oils reached 1,800 tonnes, which grew by almost 1,000 tonnes year-on-year. UZEX also started to sell turbine oils, transformer oils and spindle oils. Their total volume reached over 70 tonnes.

According to UZEX, the buyers of oil products changed significantly in 2011. Share of Tashkent region grew up to 34%. This allowed to surpass last year leader Bukhara (share 13%). Share of Karakalpakstan made up 12 and Kashkadarya region – 11%.
