UZEX said that export structure also changed. The exchange said that about 44% of exports in May fell to share of cement, the polyethylene overtook leadership with 45% share. The cement was the second with the share of 21% and non-ferrous metals was third with share of 15%.
The exchange said that it realized 6,200 tonnes of granules via hard currency platform in the past period of 2013, of which 2,600 tonnes were exported in June.
Blown marks of polyethylene are highly demanded among foreign companies. Some 4,100 tonnes of this sort of granules were realized via UZEX. This sort is used for production of PET-bottles.
Film polyethylene (31%), pipe polyethylene (2%) and cast polyethylene (1%) were also demanded among buyers.
About 94% of exported polyethylene fell to share of Russia and other 6% or 350 tonnes – to Kazakhstan.
