UZEX registers deals for 1.09 trln. soums in August

The volume of exchange trades grew by 41% year-on-year in August and made up 863.4 billion soums. Share of the segment in total volume of sales made up 79%.

The exports rose significantly and reached US$8.1 million. About 90% of the volume fell to share of polyethylene. Other part fell to share of liquefied gas (9%) and technical oil (1%).

In the reporting period, the volume of fair trades grew by 38% and reached 121.7 billion soums.

Public procurement platform recorded deals for 58.6 billion soums in August 2016, which rose by 30.3% year-on-year. This helped to save 11.8 billion soums of budget resources.

Corporate procurement rose from 30.5 billion soums to 45.6 billion soums.
