UZEX records deals for 1 trln. soums in March

Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) recorded deals for over 1 trillion soums in March 2016, which rose by 39% compared to the same period of 2015.
At the same time, the volume of exchange trade rose by 38%, fair trades – 60%, public procurement - - 7% and corporate trade – 20%.
Goods for about 803.4 billion soums were realized at exchange platform, which accounts 80% of total trade volume in March. Share of liquefied gas in the market rose from 6% to 10% in the reporting period.
Record deals were registered in fair trade platform as the volume of trades reached 133.3 billon soums. Share of small businesses in the trades was 80%.
Public procurement platform (D-xarid) recorded deals for 33.5 billion soums, which allowed to save budget resources for 8.7 billion soums.
The volume of deals at corporate procurement platform (E-xarid) rose from 31.1 billion soums to 37.4 billion soums in the reporting period.
