UZEX posts net income for 4.944bn soums in 2011

Revenue from realization of products (service) grew from 11.881 billion soums in 2010 to 17.607 billion soums in 2011. Other income from main activity rose from 340.511 million soums to 471.553 million soums in the reporting period.

Income from financial activity made up 2.971 billion soums in 2011 against 2.644 billion soums in 2010. Prime cost rose from 5.935 billion soums to 7.253 billion soums in the reporting period. Expenses reached 7.435 billion soums in 2011 against 5.564 billion soums in 2010.

UZEX assets grew from 160.2 billion soums in 2010 to 200.246 billion soums in 2011, the report said. Long-term assets made up 10.932 billion soums in 2011 against 9.488 billion soums in 2010, current assets rose from 150.3 billion soums to 189.323 billion soums.

Own capital of UZEX made up 12.358 billion soums in 2011 (8.222 billion soums in 2010), charter capital made up 2.499 billion soums. Undistributed income rose from 3.186 billion soums to 5.821 billion soums. Liabilities exceeded 187.888 billion soums (151.575 billion soums in 2010).

The exchange said that its turnover of UZEX grew by 49% year-on-year in 2011 to 5.178 billion soums.
