Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to promote the products produced by the companies of the Uzeltehsanoat Association to the African market and to organize joint production of electrical equipment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Cairo organized a video conference meeting with the participation of the management of Uzeltehsanoat and its members companies "ProCab" and "Texnoservice", Dunyo news agency reported.

During the event, it was noted that the goods of Uzeltekhsanoat companies are in great demand in the CIS countries because of their high quality and affordable prices. Marketing research shows the possibility of selling them in the markets of Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Sudan. To this end, at the initial stage, it is planned to hold presentations and showrooms of cables and household appliances in 3D format in Egypt and Sudan for potential buyers.

In connection with the expansion of the construction of public and private facilities in Uzbekistan, there is an increased demand for the installation of modern dry-type transformers, which are mainly imported from abroad. Taking into account the rich experience of Egyptian companies in the production of these types of transformers, it is planned to implement joint projects in this direction.

An agreement was reached on organizing a visit to Egypt of a delegation of representatives of the Uzeltehsanoat Association and its member companies in November this year to hold negotiations with Egyptian business circles on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
