Uzeltekhsanoat and Robotis Launch Cooperation in the Field of Robotics
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chairman of the Uzeltekhsanoat Association Mirziyod Yunusov held a working meeting with Kim Byung Soo, President and Chief Executive Officer of the South Korean company Robotis, one of the world’s leading robotics companies.
The meeting took place within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation signed with Robotis in December 2025.
During the bilateral dialogue, the parties discussed practical steps to intensify cooperation in the field of robotics, the introduction of robotic solutions into industrial production, and workforce development through the integration of educational programs with industrial activities.
The President of Robotis highlighted the strong development momentum of Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering industry and expressed interest in long-term cooperation aimed at deploying advanced robotic technologies and developing highly qualified human capital in the country.
Founded in 1999, Robotis today holds a leading position in the development and production of robotic solutions for industry, education, and scientific research.
The company implements joint projects with leading universities worldwide, including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and KAIST, and cooperates with major international corporations such as Google, Amazon, Dyson, LG, Samsung, NASA, Toyota, Sony, Microsoft, Apple, Intel, and BMW.
