Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Association “Uzeltekhsanoatwith representatives of one of Iran’s leading companies in the energy sector — Iran Transfo. The delegation was led by the company’s official representative in Uzbekistan, Mohammad Reza Jafari.

During the negotiations, Faridun Abdualimov, Deputy Chairman of the Association, discussed with the foreign guests the project proposals put forward by the Iranian side regarding the organization of production of new types of high-voltage equipment in Uzbekistan.

The parties also exchanged detailed views on issues of product localization, the implementation of technological solutions, and the creation of joint manufacturing capacities.

Representatives of the Uzeltekhsanoat Association provided the delegation with detailed information about the favorable investment climate, infrastructure capabilities, and government support measures established in Uzbekistan for the development of the electrical engineering industry.

Following the meeting, the representatives of Iran Transfo expressed their readiness to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the discussed proposals and to present a final decision on the project after internal consultations.

This meeting is regarded as an important step in deepening industrial cooperation between Iran and Uzbekistan, as well as in developing the production of high-tech products and implementing innovative projects.
