Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzcharmsanoat Association took part in the Republican Intersectoral Industrial Fair, which took place on 14-18 December at the National Exhibition Complex of Uzexpocentre JSC in Tashkent. At the fair, about 30 enterprises of the leather, footwear and fur and fur industries presented over 200 localized and import-substituting goods.

It should be noted that the enterprises-members of the Association in 2021, based on the localization program, implemented 38 projects and produced goods worth 63 billion soums. In 2022, 34 more projects will be launched, it is planned to produce import-substituting products for 65 billion soums. In total, in 2021, within the framework of the program, 64 enterprises of the industry produced products worth $ 151.7 million. Of this volume, goods worth 89.4 million dollars were delivered to the external markets, and 62.3 million dollars - to the domestic markets.

Mutually beneficial contracts were concluded at the intersectoral industrial site. In particular, 20 contracts were signed for the supply of goods for a total of 62.8 billion soums, 14 contracts for the purchase of products worth 51.3 billion soums. In total, 38 contracts for 114.1 billion soums were signed at the cooperation exchange.

For active participation in the Intersectoral Industrial Fair and presentation of new types of localized products, the Uzcharmsanoat Association was awarded a letter of gratitude from the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.

In general, this industrial fair opened up even more opportunities for the enterprises of the industry to find new partners and further expand trade relations.
