Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Natural gas extracted from the fields of the Ustyurt gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz is processed at the Vostochny Berdak and Arslon primary gas treatment units. That is, through these installations, natural gas is purified from liquid hydrocarbons, stratal waters, mechanical mixtures and is supplied as raw gas to the main gas pipelines of Uztransgaz and the Ustyurt gas chemical complex.

In order to further improve the operating parameters at the 1st technological branch of the complex gas treatment unit "Vostochny Berdak", to extend the life of the turboexpander unit, technical measures were taken.

In particular, a filter was installed on the gas pipe of the compressor of this unit. The installation of an additional filter prevented the emergency braking of the turboexpander units and the reduction of gas condensate, which could be lost as a result.

The Vostochny Berdak gas treatment facility is located on the territory of Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the first technological network was launched in 2002. In 2005–2018, technological networks 2, 3 and 4 were launched under the equipment expansion project.
