Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In agreement with the regulatory authorities Uzenergoinspektsiya and Uzneftegazinspektsiya, a systematic program of organizational and technical measures has been developed to save energy resources as a result of the modernization and reconstruction of production in departments and enterprises under the jurisdiction of the joint-stock company, for 2022-2024.

This program is aimed at fulfilling the tasks defined by the State Program “On the implementation of the new development strategy of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 in the Year of Ensuring Human Interests and Development of the Mahalla”, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to reduce the dependence of sectors of the economy on the fuel and energy products by improving the energy efficiency of the economy and attracting available resources”.

According to the system program of measures, this year it is planned to save 24.716 million kWh of electricity by improving the working condition of electrical installations and lighting, installing energy-saving devices, reducing electrical loads, systemic control of operating modes, as well as installing a solar power plant, photovoltaic panels and solar collectors.

In addition, it is planned to save 21.861 million m3 of fuel gas through the use of thermal energy based on regime maps, systemic monitoring of compliance with approved fuel and energy consumption standards, improving the thermal protection of installations, and equipping energy efficient and economical devices.

In January-February 2022, savings of 672.66 thousand kWh of electricity, 926 million cubic meters of fuel gas were achieved and the implementation of the established plan by 100.3 percent was achieved.

As a result, it was possible to save 686.85 million soums from the funds spent in this area.
