Uzbekneftegaz Increases Gasoline Sales on the Exchange in Response to Demand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” is increasing the volume of gasoline sold on the exchange in line with consumer demand, the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan reported.

Due to a cold atmospheric front and the introduction of short-term restrictions on the operation of vehicle gas-filling compressor stations (methane refueling stations), the volume of gasoline offered for exchange trading will be increased. Necessary reserves have been prepared in all regions to ensure supply.

The ministry emphasizes that meeting the population’s full demand for gasoline is under state control, and all necessary measures have been taken to guarantee stable deliveries.

At the same time, owners of private gas stations are urged not to inflate prices artificially and to sell gasoline in accordance with established quality and volume standards. Oversight of compliance with these rules will be strengthened, and unjustified price increases are not permitted.
