Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the system of Uzbekneftegaz, an analysis was made of the work done following the results of the 1st quarter of 2022 in order to further improve the effectiveness of measures in the compliance direction, identify possible corruption and other risks, and take measures to prevent conflict interests.

Based on the results of the analysis, based on the tasks and responsibilities carried out in accordance with the provisions and job descriptions of the responsible divisions of enterprises under the jurisdiction of Uzbekneftegaz, a list of possible corruption and other risks was formed in the amount of 239, of which in departments (factories) and enterprises - 178, oil depots - 61.

To eliminate and reduce these risks, only 1,094 measures have been developed: 317 out of 341 measures are provided by the management (factory) and enterprises, 703 out of 753 measures identified at oil depots.

Also, the system constantly analyzes the list of corruption and other risks that may arise at departments (factories), enterprises and oil depots, adds a list of new risks and develops appropriate measures to prevent them.

At the same time, according to the results of the 1st quarter of the current year, a total of 2,325 declarations of conflict of interest were received from the heads and middle managers of the enterprises of the system.

According to the results of the analysis, during the reporting period, signs of a conflict of interest were identified in 116 cases, of which in 80 cases - potential conflicts of interest, and in 36 cases - related cases (conflict of real interests) directly in direct subordination to each other.

For example, cases of a direct conflict of interest were revealed in Uzneftegaz Burgilash Ishlari LLC in 5 cases, in the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex - in 2 cases, in Karshi Oil Depot LLC - in 4 cases, in Morocand Oil Depot LLC - in 4 cases, in LLC "Navoi oil depot" - in 3 cases.

Measures are being taken to eliminate these circumstances in accordance with the requirements of the labor legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Regulation "On the management of conflicts of interest" adopted at the enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
