Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 9 January 2020 “On measures to implement the Investment Program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2022”, Uzbekneftegaz is implementing an investment project for the construction of 4th string of UPPBS at the Mubarek gas processing plant worth US$58.3 million.
The project aims to increase the production of propane-butane mixture by an additional 38.4 thousand tons per year, by building a new fourth line of the installation of the propane-butane mixture with a capacity of 3 billion cubic meters of gas per year, and its need is justified by the growing demand for liquefied gas for domestic market.
The project envisages the construction of a booster compressor station, a zeolite gas dehydration plant, additional tanks for receiving, storing and shipping liquefied gases to consumers, and a plant for producing propane-butane mixture.
To implement the project, imported technological equipment is being manufactured at the factories of PJSC Sumy NPO (Ukraine), PJSC Turbogaz (Ukraine), Linde AG (Germany), KMPO Motorcorp. L.P. (RF), PJSC Chelyabinsk TPZ (RF) and others.
The main part of the technological equipment was delivered to the construction site, installation is being carried out.
Currently, the total construction volume is 75% completed by the contractor LLC Neftegazmontazh. The completion of construction and installation works is planned for May this year.
