The sides exchanged opinion on issues related to development of cooperation.
North Gyeongsang province is known for success in machinery, metallurgy and textile industries. The sides noted that the exchange experience will be useful for both sides.
The Korean delegation in cooperation with Korea Energy expressed intension to hold conference on energy issues, which can be attended by representatives of Uzbeknefetegaz. The Korean side also noted that Uzbekistan could participate at the World Clean Energy Forum.
During the talks, it was noted that closeness of culture and traditions of two nations will deepen common professional and friendly relations based on mutual trust and respect.
The Uzbek side noted that within the cooperation Uzbekistan and South Korea are implementing wide-scale projects, including construction of Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex on the bases of Surgil field, implemented by Uz-Kor Gas Chemical. Uz-Kor Gas Chemical was founded by Uzbekneftegaz and group of Korean companies.
Thompson-Reuters agency named the project financing of the Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex has been named as the project of the year.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness to further develop long-term fruitful relations.
