“Uzbekneftegaz” Discusses Investment in Oil and Gas Infrastructure with GIP

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz,” held a meeting with Eric Warvel, representative of the American company Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), part of the BlackRock group.

During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for strategic cooperation, including opportunities to attract investment into Uzbekistan’s existing oil and gas infrastructure.

Special attention was paid to the need for a comprehensive analysis of all potential proposals and an assessment of their impact on the financial and economic performance of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz.”

An agreement on information exchange between the parties was signed during the meeting.

Additionally, both sides confirmed their readiness to further strengthen strategic partnership and consider prospective investment projects in the sector.
