“Uzbekneftegaz” Begins Independent Production at Gazli Fields

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In line with the priorities outlined in the President’s Address to the Oliy Majlis, aimed at strengthening energy security, ensuring efficient use of natural resources, and providing stable energy supplies to the population and economic sectors, JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” has commenced independent hydrocarbon production at the Gazli fields.

This decision forms part of the implementation of the “100 Days Challenge” program, through which the company demonstrates concrete and systematic results.

According to the directive of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” Chairman Abdugani Sanginov, previously planned projects at 21 Gazli fields, which were to be implemented with partner involvement, will now be executed solely by the company using its own resources and financing.

To accelerate production, the company plans to deploy modern technologies, add additional drilling rigs, install onshore compressor stations, and procure the necessary material and technical equipment.

The implementation of this project is expected to increase hydrocarbon production volumes and strengthen the country’s position in the energy sector, ensuring a stable supply of energy resources to both the population and economic industries.
