“Uzbekneftegaz” and Ipoteka Bank OTP Group Agree to Support Investment and Import Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” with a delegation from Ipoteka Bank OTP Group to discuss prospects for expanding financial and investment cooperation, the company’s press service reported.

During the meeting, representatives of Uzbekneftegaz presented information on the company’s ongoing transformation, improvements in corporate governance, and full implementation of IFRS standards. Special attention was given to measures aimed at strengthening the company’s financial stability, including systematic state support, expanded geological exploration, increased hydrocarbon production, and the adoption of digital management solutions.

The results of projects implemented with the bank’s credit resources in 2024–2025 were also highlighted. The parties discussed opportunities to increase refinancing volumes, support purchases under investment projects and import contracts, and optimize Uzbekneftegaz’s debt portfolio.

Following the talks, both sides agreed to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation and finance new joint projects.
