Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Mekhriddin Abdullayev met with Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprombank JSC Alexei Matveev, which is one of the largest universal banks in Russia, occupies a leading position in terms of private capital in the lists of banks of Central and Eastern Europe, and discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.

In particular, in recent years Gazprombank JSC has allocated more than 1.4 billion US dollars for the implementation of significant projects in the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC expressed gratitude to the representatives of Gazprombank JSC and noted that with the direct support of partners, Uzbekneftegaz JSC is rising to high positions in the world rating, corporate ratings have been received from world rating agencies, and debut Eurobonds have been issued.

Alexey Matveev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprombank JSC, also expressed satisfaction with the results achieved by Uzbekneftegaz JSC and announced the readiness of Gazprombank JSC to provide ongoing support in this direction, noting that they would not stop at the results achieved and would continue to develop promising areas of cooperation.

During the meeting, which was held in a friendly atmosphere, the parties discussed the main terms of financing provided by Gazprombank for the implementation of new projects, and also outlined plans for further cooperation.
