Uzbekneftegaz: a videoconference was held to discuss the work done in January-February 2022

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Under the leadership of the Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Mekhriddin Abdullayev, a videoconference was held on the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the sustainable provision of economic sectors and the population of the republic with oil and gas resources, the status of implementation of the measures specified in the "Road map” to further improve the efficiency of the joint-stock company based on the results of January-February of the current year.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairmen of the Board, heads of departments and departments, UzLITIneftgaz JSC, Uzneftegaz Burgilash Ishlari JSC, Uzneftegazkuduktamir JSC, Andijanneftegazkuduktamir JSC, Bukhara Oil Refinery, Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, Chinaz Oil Refinery, Mahsusenergogaz JSC, plant "Uzbekistan GTL", the enterprise "UNG Petro" and oil depots, the results of the work for the past period of the current year were summed up.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board emphasized that it is necessary to ensure the supply of the growing demand of the economy and the population for natural gas from year to year, the uninterrupted supply of gas raw materials to the newly built Uzbekistan GTL plant and the balance of the volumes of produced natural gas with the volume of cultivated reserves.

The meeting noted the expected results for the first two months of 2022. According to the natural gas production will be 99.2%, and the growth rate - 101.4%. For gas condensate - 240.0 thousand tons or 102.7% of the forecast, and the growth rate - 102.1%.

Mubarek, Shurtan and Gazli oil and gas production departments were criticized by the Chairman of the Board for failure to fulfill the plan and incomplete use of available opportunities, as well as for the allowed lag in the production of 45.3 million cubic meters of natural gas compared to the forecast.

It was noted that oil production will amount to 17.9 thousand tons, or 102.3% of the forecast, and the growth rate will be 85.5%. At the meeting, this indicator was analyzed in the context of departments. The established forecast indicators were met by the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department and Vodiy, but the growth rates were not ensured (86.2%, 51.6%, respectively).

To achieve these indicators, in January-February 2022, 14 wells were drilled, 98 wells were overhauled, and 3 technological measures were carried out. During the year, it is planned to carry out drilling at 105 wells, overhaul and intensification of 594 wells, and construction and installation work at 27 technological facilities.

At the meeting, reports were heard on the current processes of compressor stations under construction at the Dengizkul field in the Mubarek region and at the South Tandircha field in the Shurtan region. The Chairman of the Board gave instructions on the timely commissioning of these technological facilities.

As part of the visit of the Head of State to the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC was instructed to increase production in the region using the wide opportunities of Ustyurt. In order to ensure the fulfillment of these tasks, the meeting took measures to accelerate the commissioning of wells in which drilling is carried out in deep layers, to obtain high flow rates as a result of ongoing analysis.

As a result of the effective measures taken over the two months of this year, in order to increase natural gas reserves, 3D seismic surveys were carried out on an area of 290.0 sq. km, exploration drilling of 21.1 thousand meters was completed and the construction of 4 exploration wells was completed (East Khatar-2, West Tegirmon 6, Urtakum 2 (BHR), Niez 1 (Gissar region).

The agenda of the meeting also considered the state of production of liquefied gas. Liquefied gas production in January-February 2022 is expected to be at the level of 106% compared to the forecast, and the growth rate is 109.5%.

The Chairman of the Management Board determined the necessary tasks to take measures to put into operation all technological installations at full capacity and establish production by the end of April of this year in order to uninterruptedly provide the population with liquefied gas living in areas where natural gas is not available.

The Chairman of the Management Board assessed unsatisfactorily the measures taken by employees of enterprises and organizations of the system for violations of financial legislation.

In particular, shortages and thefts for 92 billion soums, damage for 58 billion soums, other errors and shortcomings for 220 billion soums, unauthorized delivery of products for 238 billion soums by the Bukhara oil refinery for safekeeping were revealed.

As a result of inspections at oil depots, errors and shortages totaling 590 billion soums were revealed.

Currently, law enforcement agencies are provided with data on the shortages, development and other shortcomings identified during the studies for 283 billion soums.

In relation to 28 of them, criminal cases were initiated by the relevant authorities, pre-investigation checks were carried out for 4, identified shortcomings were collected, and pre-investigation checks are being carried out for 8.

The Chairman of the Board instructed the head of the financial compliance control department to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks defined in cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Anti-Corruption and Prevention of Illegal Actions Agency.

The meeting also identified priority tasks for the first quarter and for 2022.
