Uzbekiston Temir Yollari receives four Chinese cargo locomotives

Last week, the Chinese consortium CNTIC and CNR DLRC delivered last four cargo electric locomotives of O’ZEL series.

Uzbekiston Temir Yollari and consortium CNTIC and CNR DLRC (China) signed an agreement on purchase of 11 electric cargo locomotives for US$44.39 million in 2011.

The project cost is US$47.3 million. Eximbank allocated a loan for US$42 million and own resources of Uzbekiston Temir Yollari.

The loan issued for 20 years, with five year grace period. Interest rate is 2.25% APR plus margin of refinancing bat at 0.25%.
