Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 20 December 2021 “On establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of weekends in 2022” holiday discounts are provided from 31 December 2021 to 4 January 2022, 21-23 March 2022 and 1-2 September 2022:
- pensioners, disabled people, WWII and WWII 1941-1945 and persons equated to them - 50%;
- students of universities, schoolchildren, students of colleges and lyceums, students of special educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense, State Security Service, State Tax Committee, State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan (upon presentation of certificates and student cards) - 15%;
- family (2 or more people - husband and wife; husband, wife and their children under 18; father or mother with children under 18) (if there is a marriage certificate; attach copies to reports) - 15%;
- teams (if there is an application of 4 or more people) - 15%;
- for high-speed trains "Afrosiyob" for all categories of passengers - 10%
These discounts are available exclusively when booking tickets at railway ticket offices. Issuance of electronic tickets taking into account the above-mentioned discounts is not technically provided yet.
