Uzbekiston Havo Yollari rents plane of Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov

The airline noted that the Government of Uzbekistan instructed Uzbekiston Havo Yollari to search for and select several variants of aircraft for possible rent for purpose of using it as an official aircraft of the President of Uzbekistan for long-distance flights.

The airline stressed that it chose the Airbus 340 M-IABU, proposed by its operator GlobalJet in terms of comfort, safety and technical readiness.

Uzbekiston Havo Yollari and Klaret Aviation Limited, which owns the aircraft, signed a rent agreement on commercial terms at current market prices.

The airline on behalf of the Government of Uzbekistan expressed its gratitude to Alisher Usmanov for his consent to rent the airplane and willingness to promptly provide the plane to transport the President of Uzbekistan.
