Uzbekistan’s Trap Shooting Team Wins Full Set of Medals at Asian Championship in Doha

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan national trap shooting team delivered a strong performance at the Asian Championship in Doha, securing a complete set of medals: one gold, one silver, and one bronze.

Junior shooter Okhunjon Abdukodirov stood out by winning the gold medal in the trap discipline, setting a new world record in the process. Silver in the same junior category was claimed by Yaroslava Eshtaeva. Bronze medals were awarded to Okhunjon Abdukodirov, Azamat Kayumov, and Shokhrukh Sadirov in the junior team event.

The results highlighted the high level of training and preparation of Uzbek athletes and confirmed their growing success on the international trap shooting stage.
