Uzbekistan’s Tourism Sector Surpasses 3,100 Operators

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, as of 1 February 2026, Uzbekistan had 3,143 tour operators, travel agencies, and other organizations providing tourism services.

This represents an increase of 551 companies, or 21.3%, compared to the same period in 2025, reflecting continued expansion of the country’s tourism industry.

Data show sustained growth in the sector over recent years. On 1 February 2022, Uzbekistan hosted 1,841 tourism companies, rising to 2,374 by early 2023, 2,539 in 2024, and 2,592 in 2025.

By early 2026, the number of operators and agencies exceeded 3,100, underscoring the ongoing development of tourism infrastructure and increasing entrepreneurial activity in the sector.
