Uzbekistan’s Tax Revenues Exceed 158 Trillion Soums in Nine Months, Rising by 18%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first nine months of 2025, Uzbekistan’s tax authorities collected 158.7 trillion soums in budget revenues, an 18% increase compared to the same period last year.

The structure of tax revenues showed growth across all major categories compared to January–September 2024. Corporate income tax amounted to 35.4 trillion soums (+14%), value-added tax (VAT) — 32.5 trillion soums (+14%), personal income tax — 30.3 trillion soums (+19%), subsoil use tax — 16 trillion soums (+24%), excise tax — 14.4 trillion soums (+14%), non-tax revenues — 13.8 trillion soums (+30%), land tax — 7.2 trillion soums (+20%), property tax — 6 trillion soums (+16%), turnover tax — 2.4 trillion soums (+12%), and the water use tax — 0.7 trillion soums (+16%).

Non-tax revenues include state duties, fines, and fees.

Tax revenue growth across the regions reached 27% in the first nine months and 30% in the third quarter alone.

The highest growth rates were recorded in Navoi region (86%), Ferghana region (39%), Tashkent city (33%), and Syrdarya region (32%).
