Uzbekistan’s Tax committee warns of fraudulent “debt” emails
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has issued an official warning about fraudulent emails being sent to citizens under the guise of tax debt notifications.
According to the Committee, individuals have recently begun receiving fake messages claiming they have outstanding tax debts that require immediate payment. These emails are not affiliated with the tax authorities and are attempts at deception.
The Committee emphasized that all official notifications are issued solely through personal accounts on the platforms my.soliq.uz and my3.soliq.uz, in full compliance with current legislation. Up-to-date information on accrued taxes, mandatory payments, and outstanding balances is available in real-time through these portals and the Soliq mobile application.
Citizens with questions or concerns are advised to contact their assigned tax inspector. Contact details for inspectors are also available within the taxpayer’s personal account.
The Tax Committee strongly urges the public to remain vigilant, ignore suspicious emails, avoid clicking on unverified links, and refrain from opening attachments from unknown sources.
