Uzbekistan’s securities market turnover makes up 749.6bn soums in 2009

Shares for 91.9 billion soums were realized at the organized market, including 18.5 billion soums in IPO market and 73.4 billion soums in the secondary market. The deals with corporate bonds in organized market made up 0.6 billion soums.

In the unorganized market, shares worth 656.2 billion soums were traded in 2009, of which 541.9 billion soums in IPO market and 114.3 billion soums in the secondary market. In the unorganized IPO market, deals with corporate bonds for 0.9 billion soums were recorded.

Aggregate turnover of the secondary market (both shares and corporate bonds) comprised 1881. billion soums in 2009, including 73.4 billion soums in organized market and 114.3 billion soums in unorganized market.
