Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Development Agency and Turkish Company Unirex Discuss Expanding Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, met with Atilla Altınkay, Director of the Turkish company Unirex, and the company’s delegation.

During the discussions, the parties examined in detail the prospects for expanding cooperation and the frameworks for long-term partnership, including the establishment of production capacities, construction of manufacturing facilities, development of product distribution, and optimization of supply chains.

Unirex representatives highly praised Uzbekistan’s achievements in developing the pharmaceutical sector, improving infrastructure, and implementing reforms, noting that the country’s large-scale transformations made a strong impression.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to bring cooperation to a practical level, prepare concrete proposals and mechanisms for engagement, and continue further negotiations.
