Uzbekistan’s Pension Fund Discusses Actuarial Assessment with World Bank and ILO Experts
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A working meeting on the actuarial assessment of Uzbekistan’s pension system was held at the Pension Fund of Uzbekistan, with participation from representatives of the World Bank and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
The meeting brought together the leadership of the Pension Fund, ILO representatives André Picard and Pascal Annick, and World Bank experts Himanshi Jain and Marina Novikova.
A grant was allocated by the international financial organizations to conduct the actuarial assessment of the pension system.
During the discussions, participants addressed practical aspects of conducting the assessment in Uzbekistan, the use of analytical indicators, as well as technical and organizational issues.
The meeting concluded with concrete measures outlined for further improvement of the pension system, establishing the framework for cooperation with international experts, and defining key priorities for the future.
