Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Mufti Nuriddin Kholiknazarov, has called on worshippers to refrain from bringing young children to mosques during prayer.

The appeal follows the circulation of a video on social media showing children playing inside a mosque during prayer.

The Mufti emphasized the importance of maintaining focus during worship and underscored that prayer requires a reverent atmosphere.

"Nothing should be done that disrupts this prayer," he stated.

The Muslim Board has urged worshippers to observe order and maintain decorum during religious services.
