Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, an expanded meeting took place at the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, dedicated to the implementation of several agreements reached during the visit to Malaysia and ensuring their fulfillment.

The meeting was attended by heads of relevant departments and divisions, as well as leaders of systemic organizations.

It was noted during the meeting that diplomatic relations between the two countries not only contribute to the development of trade and investment but have also elevated mutually beneficial cooperation in the agricultural sector to a new level.

The discussion then focused on the agreements reached during the visit and their current relevance.

In particular, attention was drawn to the prompt and effective implementation of agreements on rice cultivation, fisheries, sericulture, increasing production and export volumes, as well as studying Malaysia’s experience in the digitalization of agriculture, with instructions for the relevant authorities to ensure the fulfillment of these tasks.

As a result of the meeting, specific tasks were defined to effectively implement the existing agreements, which will allow the relationship between the two countries to reach a new level.
