Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture Delegation Holds Bilateral Talks with Kazakhstan and Armenia at “Grüne Woche 2026”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan is participating in the 18th Conference of Agriculture Ministers, held in Berlin as part of the international exhibition “Grüne Woche 2026.”
The event has brought together representatives from over 70 countries and is aimed at exchanging expertise, discussing current trends, and strengthening cooperation in the agricultural sector.
The Uzbek delegation is led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alisher Shukurov. During the conference, he held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of foreign states and international organizations. Notably, discussions took place with Azat Sultanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, and Arman Khodjoyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia.
The parties discussed the implementation of agricultural development roadmaps, expanding bilateral cooperation, exchanging scientific and practical expertise, and carrying out joint investment and innovative projects. Both sides expressed readiness to elevate collaboration to a new level, including in the development of agro-clusters, seed production, livestock farming, and agricultural processing.
Special attention was given to the digitalization of the agricultural sector. The Uzbek delegation shared its experience in implementing digital technologies in agriculture, while the Armenian delegation expressed interest in exchanging knowledge in this area.
Additionally, Armenia was invited to participate in the Forum of Landlocked Developing Countries, planned to be held in Uzbekistan in 2026.
Uzbekistan’s participation in the Berlin conference demonstrates the country’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation and integrating modern technologies and practices into the development of its agro-industrial complex.
