Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments Discusses New Investment Projects and STEAM Initiatives with Air Products

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 January, the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a working meeting with Ivo Bolsom, President for Europe and Africa at the American company Air Products.

During the discussion, the parties reviewed the current status and prospects for implementing joint investment projects, with particular attention to the launch of the innovative educational platform “American Makerspace” in Karshi, focused on the development of STEAM disciplines.

The project aims to support education, foster creative and critical thinking, and develop practical technical skills in demand in the global economy.

The meeting reaffirmed the mutual interest of both sides in deepening strategic partnership and implementing initiatives that contribute to the sustainable economic and technological development of Uzbekistan.
