Uzbekistan’s Gold and Foreign Exchange Reserves Surpass US$50 Billion for the First Time — Central Bank
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 September 2025, Uzbekistan’s gold and foreign exchange reserves exceeded US$50 billion for the first time, rising by US$1.34 billion, the Central Bank reported.
At the same time, foreign currency reserves slightly decreased from US$9.5 billion to US$9.4 billion, while holdings of international securities remained at US$1 billion.
The value of gold in the reserves increased by US$1.4 billion, reaching US$40.1 billion, and the physical volume of gold rose from 11.7 million to 11.8 million troy ounces.
