Uzbekistan’s gold and foreign exchange reserves decreased by US$1.6 billion.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As of 1 October 2023, Uzbekistan’s gold and foreign exchange reserves decreased by more than US$1.6 billion, according to the report of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

At the end of the September 2023, reserves exceeded US$31 billion.

Uzbekistan’s foreign exchange reserves in the reporting period amounted to US$7 billion.

Gold reserves exceeded US$23 billion. The physical volume of gold amounted to 12.3 million troy ounces.
