Uzbekistan’s GDP makes up 50.432 trln. soums in 1H

The volume of gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan, according to preliminary data, made up 50.432 trillion soums in current prices in the first half of 2013, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The committee said that the growth rate of GDP made up 8% compared to the same period of 2012.
About 82.5% of total GDP fell to share of the non-governmental sector of economy and 17.5% - to the state sector.
Share of goods production in structure of the GDP made 35.9% in January-June 2013 (35.4% in January-June 2012) and service production – 52.4% (52.2%).
Net taxes on products and export-import operations made up 11.7% in the GDP structure in January-June 2013 (12.4%).
