Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry Calls for Peaceful Resolution of Thailand–Cambodia Border Conflict
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has issued a statement in response to inquiries regarding the situation between Thailand and Cambodia. The ministry emphasized that it is closely monitoring developments related to the recent armed clashes on the border between the two countries.
Uzbekistan urges all parties to resolve the conflict peacefully and to adhere to the norms of international law.
According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok, no Uzbek citizens residing in Thailand or Cambodia have been affected by the situation. Conditions in the Thai capital and key tourist regions remain stable, and there are currently no threats to foreign tourists.
At the same time, the Foreign Ministry strongly advises Uzbek citizens to refrain from traveling to areas near the Cambodia–Thailand border and to follow official updates.
