Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Israel Comments on TikTok Incident Involving Uzbek Citizen
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Israel has commented on an incident involving an Uzbek citizen that sparked public reaction.
On 28 February 2026, an Uzbek citizen identified as N.Kh. posted a video on TikTok filmed during a rocket attack and the activation of sirens, in which inappropriate language was used. The video spread widely across the Israeli segment of social media and triggered significant public discontent.
Following the incident, an Israeli citizen identified as A.Kh. filed a complaint with the police. The Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan promptly contacted N.Kh., held a conversation with him and conducted explanatory work, while also maintaining communication with the Israeli side. At present, N.Kh. is in safe conditions, and the situation is fully under the control of the embassy’s consular section.
The embassy calls on Uzbek citizens to strictly comply with local legislation, exercise caution in their behavior, avoid provocations and unconditionally follow security recommendations issued by the Israeli Home Front Command during rocket attacks.
