Uzbekistan’s Electricity Generation Rises 9% in January
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January 2026, Uzbekistan generated 8.228 billion kWh of electricity, an increase of 686 million kWh, or 9 percent, compared with the same period last year, the Ministry of Energy reported.
Electricity supplied to consumers across the country in January reached 6.527 billion kWh, up 313 million kWh, or 5 percent, compared with January 2025.
