Uzbekistan’s electricity exports rise by 55% in January–September 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–September 2025, Uzbekistan increased its electricity exports, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Electricity exports amounted to US$114.8 million, up 55.1% compared to the same period in 2024.

At the same time, electricity imports decreased to US$82.4 million, down 14.4% year-on-year.

During the reporting period, Uzbek enterprises produced 62.54 billion kWh of electricity, an increase of 3.8% compared to 60.26 billion kWh generated in the same period of 2024.
