Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Lieutenant General Shukhrat Khalmukhammedov, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, conducted a series of bilateral meetings with defense ministers from Central Asian countries.

The discussions focused on expanding military cooperation, enhancing joint training, exchanging practical experience, and implementing collaborative initiatives in the field of regional security.

The primary goal of these meetings was to develop practical cooperation aimed at ensuring peace, unity, and stable development across Central Asia. The dialogue, held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, laid the foundation for strengthening trust and solidarity among the states, as well as for adopting new measures to maintain peace and stability.

The parties agreed to advance interstate military and military-technical cooperation, improve coordination in the fight against international terrorism, ensure regional security, and establish a reliable framework for collaboration between the countries.

Experts note that such initiatives reflect Uzbekistan’s leadership vision of promoting peace and unity, while fostering a safer, more stable, and sustainable development environment in the region.
