Uzbekistan’s Consulate in Dubai Reports Regional Situation Stabilized, Flights to Tashkent Resumed
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Dubai reported that the situation in the region has stabilized and air travel has resumed. Following the reopening of airspace, flights on the Dubai–Tashkent route are gradually being operated by domestic airlines UzAirways, CentrumAir, and Qanot Sharq.
According to the consulate, UzAirways flights on 5–6 March, as well as a CentrumAir flight on March 6, arrived in Tashkent with available seats. This provides additional opportunities for Uzbek citizens planning to return home in the near future.
Citizens who previously purchased tickets for FlyDubai and Air Arabia flights but faced cancellations or delays are advised to contact their tour operators or the airlines’ representatives immediately. The consulate noted that alternative daily flights are now available for returning to Uzbekistan.
Consulate staff continue to work around the clock, providing consular and legal assistance to all citizens in need. The diplomatic mission urged citizens to rely only on official sources of information and not to trust unverified rumors circulating on social media.
