Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhabov, and Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Alisher Tukhtaev, held an online meeting to discuss prospects for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Special attention was given to the outcomes of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Uzbekistan. Among the key topics were the opening of Uzbekistan’s Trade House in Lahore and the establishment of a showroom and warehouse for Uzbek products in Karachi.

During the meeting, trade representatives of Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Pakistan were appointed: Dilorom Abdullayeva in Lahore and Albina Kurtbedinova in Karachi.

Additionally, the parties explored the possibility of organizing a national exhibition, Made in Uzbekistan, in Karachi, as well as holding an Uzbek-Pakistani business forum with the participation of business communities from both countries.
