Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the UAE Abdulaziz Akkulov Awarded First-Class “Independence” Order

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has awarded Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Abdulaziz Akkulov, the First-Class Order of “Independence” upon the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, according to Dunyo.

The high honor was presented by UAE Minister of State Saeed bin Mubarak Al-Hadjeri during a ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation, with the minister emphasizing the UAE’s readiness to further develop relations across all sectors. He also wished Ambassador Akkulov continued success and highly praised his personal contribution to strengthening Uzbek–Emirati ties throughout his diplomatic tenure.

In response, Abdulaziz Akkulov expressed deep gratitude to President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and highlighted the progress achieved, reflecting the UAE leadership’s commitment to enhancing the country’s international standing.

The ambassador also thanked all government agencies for their fruitful cooperation, which facilitated the successful implementation of his mission to advance bilateral relations.

Previously, Abdulaziz Akkulov was appointed Chairman of the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee.
