Uzbekistan’s Agriculture Minister Discusses Investment in the Agrarian Sector with IFAD

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, held a meeting with Donald Brown, Vice President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the current state of bilateral cooperation and promising directions for its further development.

Particular attention was paid to attracting investment in agriculture, promoting sustainable development of rural areas, and implementing modern innovative approaches in the agrarian sector.

The participants reaffirmed their intention to continue strengthening cooperation and to implement new joint initiatives.
