Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 17:00 on 6 June, the number of citizens infected with coronavirus in the country reached 4064 (+42).

According to the Ministry of Health, of the confirmed new cases, 24 were identified among those who are in quarantine centers, 12 cases were found among the population in Tashkent (3), in Khorezm (3) and Namangan regions (6), 2 among drivers of international trucks arriving from abroad to the Tashkent region. Another 4 cases were found in Syrdarya region in those who had contact with patients.

At present, 3247 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection in the republic.

In the infectious diseases hospitals of the republic, 801 patients are treated.
